Newton Le Willows was...


The world's largest water tower at the time of its construction.

The second ever water tower in the UK to be built from reinforced concrete.

117 feet high, capacity 300,000 gallons.

Built in 1904.















Repaired, 1910, 1933 and 1962.
















Demolished in 1979.
